A VIP day in Bloomsbury

I was lucky enough to win a competition with Emerald Street to go on a VIP trip to Bloomsbury. Having only had my first ever trip to London the month before i was very excited.
After a early start and nearly 5 hour coach journey from Leeds my friend Katie and i  headed to Decadence salon for a relaxing manicure and blowdry. It was a lovely way to start the day, the staff were lovely and helpful and we loved been pampered.
From there we headed for lunch at The Life Goddess just a few doors down. The service we received wasn't great and their was a little bit of a language barrier but the food was beautiful. The restaurant is small but very cute and authentically Greek.
We also were lucky enough to receive a bouquet of flowers each from Orchidya also on the same street. The shop its self was gorgeous inside and had such a large range of flowers. The lovely lady Sophie had arranged a few bouquets so we could choose, she wrapped them beautifully.
We them headed to the British museum and the special Viking exhibition, not been much of a museum person the experience was a little lost on me but we had a nice look round and saw some interesting things, and the place is huge.
We later in the night headed to Bushbai Eathai for a gorgeous Thai meal. The staff, particularly the manager were so friendly and talked us through the menu. We ate so much food and we even tried calamari. The place was brilliant and had a fantastic atmosphere, I couldn't recommend it enough.
We ended are night in a Irish bar close to our hotel, just after we arrived a brilliant and did I mention gorgeous singer played, rounding off a perfect day.
I feel very lucky to have won this competition and loved been a VIP
